Guidelines
- I do not accept compensation for any reviews, and I will clearly identify any books I receive for free in exchange for a review. If no source is identified, I purchased the book myself or borrowed it from a friend or library.
- I will post an honest review, whether negative or positive.
- I post my reviews to this blog, Goodreads, and Amazon (if possible). If there are other places an author would like a review posted, I am willing to post there as well.
- If there’s a specific date the review should be posted by, please let me know! I usually need at least a week of notice to be sure to post it in time, but I’m always happy to try to be flexible.
- Speaking of flexibility, I would love to accept books that are already out! If you’re trying to promote a book that’s already been released, even if it’s been years, please feel free to contact me. I’m more than willing to review backlist titles.
- The genres I read most often are fantasy, sci fi, romance, and historical fiction. I’m open to all age ranges, from middle grade to YA to adult.
- I am especially interested in reading and reviewing books with diverse casts, especially if the protagonist or other main characters are female, non-binary, queer, or POC. I am also more interested in authors fitting these demographics and in own voices works.
- I accept hard copies or digital. I prefer Kindle format for digital, but will also accept PDFs.
- If your book contains sensitive material, I may include content warnings in or around my review. This is for reader information, and in no way constitutes a judgment of the book!
